The resident of Baku, Shargiyya Taghiyeva is one of the ABAD beneficiaries engaged in carpet weaving.
She has been weaving various kind of carpets for a long time now and she remarked that she was taught all of the secrets of this craft by her sister.
She considers it an honor to contribute to the enlivenment of the ancient carpet weaving craft of Azerbaijan.
Her small-sized souvenir-carpets are put up for sale and display in all the ABAD exhibition and sales centers.
The embroideries of her exquisite handicrafts reflect the accents of ancient and rich culture of Azerbaijan.
