"ABAD" beneficiary: Konul Mamedova | Region: Baku | Carpet weaving

ABAD beneficiary, Baku city resident Konul Mamedova is engaged in embroidery craft.
She has been making a diverse range of Arakchins (A traditional style headgear/skull-cap) and decorative accents for a long time.
The artisan studied in the field of carpet weaving. As years pass by, she commits herself to embroidery craft and specializes in this field.
She adorns her handiworks mostly with the carpet patterns and applied to ABAD in order to expand the scope of the sales of her products which were being sold merely based on incoming customer orders previously.
According to her statement, through the help of ABAD, she will take her family business up to the new phase and involve the other family members into this craft.
At present, artisan’s handicrafts are put up for sale in all the ABAD exhibition and sales centers.
