She draws various patterns on wooden souvenirs. An artisan portrays chiefly traditional patterns, pomegranates and carpet patterns, as well as the human figures with traditional garments on wooden items.

Fidan notes that she has always been inclined to decorative-applied folk art:

“I was depicting picturesque sceneries that I was surrounded by and various illustrations with aquarelle. As time passed by, I decided to pursue my aspiration and for this reason, I studied in this field.”

According toFidan, by joining ABAD Public Legal Entity she aims to familiarise others with her hidden talent and organize the sales of her handiwork.

At present, her handicrafts are available in all ABAD exhibition and sales centers.
