"ABAD" beneficiary: Zaka Muradov | Region: Baku | Pebble Art

According to Zaka Muradov, who was born into the family of artisans, he spontaneously began to be interested in this direction of decorative-applied art:
"In the summer months, I usually spend my time in the Ismayilli rayon. In one of these trips, I came to the attention of the casual line of stones brought by tide. Nature has created a human portrayal. It inspired me to prepare a variety of stone handicrafts."
According to Zaka Muradov, the particularity of this art is that the stones are used without whittling:
"You can not carve the grabbed stone pieces to reshape them into an art piece. You need to find a stone in accordance with the image you have already formed in your imagination, and you must build your work on it. I use stones collected from river beds and offshore to make my handicrafts."
Zaka prefers to create realistic images in his works, and his crafts are available in ABAD exhibition and sales centers.
