Our ABAD member Tahir Jafarov resides in the Zardab settlement of Guba raion. He has been engaged in gardening for over 20 years.

“- Our ancestors made their living using earth, and we chose the same path after them” - he remarks.

Previously, Tahir was growing and selling only raw material, including apple, pear, plum and cherry.

"-Then I heard about Guba ABAD Factory Production Complex. Having learnt that the certification, packaging, label design, sales arrangement and other services are offered for free by the organization, I decided to benefit from this project."

Considering that dried fruit is a portable snack and it also can be used in recipes, Tahir decides to produce dried fruits at Guba ABAD Factory:

"-We have just commenced, but our dried apples are already offered for sale. Following this, we will start drying cherry, peach, pear and other fruits in a special oven. Generally speaking, we intend to produce dried fruit from all kind of fruits that are grown in our lands".

According to our ABAD member, his products differ in their quality and do not contain any chemical additives:

“- Fruits were commonly dried under the sun in the past, but today there is a special oven for it. It's also faster and safer than using a sun drying method”.

It should be noted that Tahir Jafarov's products are available at ABAD in-store stalls located in Bravo hypermarkets chain.
