Residing in Baku, Ismayil Mikayilov is engaged in food production. He graduated from the Faculty of Economic Management of Baku Business University. After graduation, he worked as a sales manager in many private companies. He is aimed at starting a small business and has been taking steps for almost two years now:

"A few years ago, I was doing a little research in one of the foreign markets. I was pondering about the product that is not available in the Azerbaijani market and can be produced on a minimum budget. Meanwhile, the garlic powder on the shelves caught my eyes. After reading the product label, I felt that as a start-up idea, this product meets my criteria. Thus, as soon as I returned home we decided to lay a foundation of “GARLIC LLC” together with my friend. So, we launched our business with garlic powder.

According to I. Mikayilov, at first, the product offered for sale only in small shops through a personal network. Therefore, he decides to appeal ABAD to expand the scope of sales market: “We presented our product to ABAD and it was positively evaluated. Since then on, we started to production at the ABAD Factory in Guba city. At present, we produce a range of seasonings along with garlic powder including black and red ground pepper, sumac, turmeric, pepper flakes, black cumin seeds, etc. ”– he notes.

The garlic powder and the other spices produced jointly by ABAD and “GARLIC LLC” are available at ABAD in-stores located in "Bravo", "Grandmart" və "Bolmart" markets chain and these products have already won the sympathy of customers. This product is not the only natural, but also has many beneficial features: it banishes the garlic breath and is also suitable for breading. What's more, ABAD customers will soon be offered frozen "Potato Chips" made from locally selected potatoes prepared without any chemical additives.
