Aynura Mayilova, born in the Bighir village of Goychay district, is a graduate of the Azerbaijan Painting Academy, specializing as a carpet weaver, artist, and designer.

From a young age, Aynura engaged in painting, and her passion for art only grew stronger as she matured. “There were no artisans in our family, but it was my mother’s dream,” she explains. “She herself was eager to pursue art, and when she recognized my talent, she wholeheartedly supported my decision to follow a path in fine arts.”

Having explored various branches of fine arts, including painting and stained glass, Aynura is currently mastering the art of ceramics. However, as an “ABAD” artisan, her works featured in ethno-boutiques primarily consist of souvenirs crafted using the stained glass technique on glassware.

“I owe my introduction to ‘ABAD’ to social media,” she shares. “I followed their pages, then registered and earned the title of ‘ABAD’ artisan. In the near future, I aim to further refine my ceramic works and introduce these products to the market as well.”
