"ABAD" beneficiary: Turan Yusifli | Region: Sumgayit | Confectionery
Turan Yusifli, an “ABAD” artisan and resident of Sumgayit city, is the founder of the “Narni” brand. Currently, various lollipops are sold under the “Narni” brand.
“Ever since I can remember, I have always been interested in having my own business and being the producer of a product that is uniquely mine. This is because I grew up in such an environment. My mother made sugar at home. Our family organized the sales ourselves. My grandmother also made lollipops from this sugar to delight us.
Days passed, years passed, and my family’s business grew. We had our own store. One day, I put out for sale a lollipop I made using my grandmother’s recipe. The children in our neighborhood liked this product. I started working on the product, attended confectionery courses, honed my skills, and decided to expand my business.”
“ABAD,” which supports family businesses, offered Turan Yusifli services to become an entrepreneur. A contract was signed, a business plan was prepared, conditions for production were created at the Quba “ABAD Factory,” a special recipe was developed, requests for necessary certifications were sent, and after branding and various other tasks were completed, lollipops were launched for sale under the “Narni” brand.
“When I see my completely natural product, free of any chemical additives and made only from food coloring and sugar, on sale in large markets like ‘BRAVO,’ my joy knows no bounds. Now, I am thinking about introducing other ‘child-delighting’ products under my brand. I am confident that ‘ABAD’ will support me in this endeavor as well.”
