Haziyeva Lala, a resident of Baku city and an “ABAD” artisan, received her first higher education in journalism but later followed her passion and enrolled in the Design Faculty of the Azerbaijan State Academy of Fine Arts, graduating with distinction.

“From childhood, I was inclined toward painting, constantly drawing various clothing sketches. It was precisely because I saw myself in this field that I decided to pursue a second education and enrolled in the Academy of Fine Arts. I am an artist at heart.

After graduating from the Academy, I established my own business. I create paintings on ceramics, portrait artworks, and I also have my own demands. I sell my works online, and a year ago, I heard about ‘ABAD’ and began to take an interest in its activities.

Thus, I applied to become an ‘ABAD’ artisan, and after completing the necessary procedures, I began working as an ‘ABAD’ artisan. ‘ABAD’ gave a kind of boost to my development, and I became more professional in my work. Now, I receive orders not only from within the country but also from abroad.”

Speaking about her future plans, Ms. Lala stated that she aspires to open her own gallery and, alongside this, to see her handmade works recognized worldwide.
