"ABAD" beneficiary: Fidan Alisoy | Region: Baku | Design & Decor
Fidan Alisoy, who grew up and came of age in the Khirkhatala village of the Gabala district, received her education in history. Having studied in special distinction groups, Ms. Fidan continued her education at the master’s level in the Faculty of Business Administration (MBA) at the State University of Economics.
According to her, her passion and interest in handicrafts do not stem from a family tradition. With her father being an engineer and her mother a teacher, Ms. Fidan engages in the field of aromatherapy and decorative candle production. She also organizes masterclasses and courses in this field.
Before joining “ABAD,” Fidan Alisoy primarily sold her handmade works through online platforms: “I have been building this business for 10 months. Previously, I pursued it as a hobby. I first made something for myself. When demand increased, I decided to sell, and the first step was choosing a name for the brand. Later, I prepared a business plan and started working based on it.”
Constantly working on self-improvement, Fidan Alisoy aims to expand her business by venturing into the production of ceramic vessels and diffusers. Her goal is to reach a larger market and promote her products.
It should be noted that F. Alisoy’s handmade works can be obtained at “ABAD” ethno-boutiques.
