Rufat Musakhanli was born in 1975 in the city of Baku. Jewelry-making is a profession that has been passed down from generation to generation in his family. His father and grandfather also worked as jewelers, and growing up in this environment created an early interest in the craft in Rufat Musakhanli. From his childhood years onward, observing his father’s working process played a decisive role in his future career choice.
Rufat Musakhanli graduated from the College of Applied Sciences with a specialization in jewelry art. He has been professionally active in this field for nearly 30 years. The master’s works, while based on classical jewelry traditions, stand out as examples of refined taste and high craftsmanship.
For approximately three years, Rufat Musakhanli has been cooperating with ABAD. Thanks to the support provided by ABAD, the artisan has gained the opportunity to present his handcrafted works to a wider audience, increase sales opportunities, and continuously develop his creative activity. This cooperation is of great importance in terms of preserving national jewelry art and promoting it in the modern era.
