She is a primary school teacher, who has been working as a professional on decorative-applied art for over 5 years:

 " I have never acted as a primary school teacher. Decorative-applied art has become my main business. Previously, I worked ameteurly in this field. In recent years, I've started to approach this craft as a professional and I draw different portrayals on the glass.”

Speaking about her interest in this area, the artist says she has always been interested in design since she was living a school-life:

"I continued to paint after marriage as well. After finishing my teaching education, I wanted to study painting to specialize in second profession as well, but my wish did not come true. My parents did not allow me to study painting. They thought that painting was not a profitable field. But today "ABAD" proves that this is not the case".

Sevinj Ganjaliyeva draws portraits on glass bottles, works on canvas and prepares various handicrafts using beads.

"I love the mystical elements - the Phoenix (Simurgh) birds, the dragon images etc. In addition to these, I often use the star, flower and tracery features in my works, "- she remarks.
