Gultakin Macidova, a graduate of the Painting Faculty of the Azerbaijan State University of Culture and Arts, is an “ABAD” artisan. Passionate about refinement and elegance, G. Macidova is a specialist in the art of stained glass on glass surfaces. According to her, her enthusiasm for fine arts began in early childhood.

“My profession is more suited to painting portraits and still lifes with oil paints and watercolor techniques, but for the past five years, I have been continuing my work primarily with stained glass paints on glass. In this art, I believe, I can truly express myself through more beautiful, distinctive ideas and the use of various patterns.”

Ms. Gultakin’s introduction to “ABAD” came through her volunteer work with “ASAN”:

“During my volunteer activities, my skills were noticed and greatly appreciated. Thanks to them, I was directed to ‘ABAD’ and became a part of it.”

Gultakin Macidova’s future plans are also related to entrepreneurship. She aspires to advance her business career and open her own workshop:

“There, I would like to teach painting classes to children and organize exhibitions of my unique handmade works.”
