Speaking of his unique art, Yusif Hajiyev says the Shikhlar is an extraordinary field of art that allures everyone’s attention:

 "The reason is that I do not create something new - on the contrary, I discover the surrounding beauties and deliver them to people. The artifacts I've made are frames for pictures, different containers, and even tables. This art is a new direction, not calligraphy, nor artistic carving art."

According to Yusif Hajiyev, his handiwork have been investigated by more than fifty art critics and the art of Shikhlar considered a new branch of the decorative-applied folk art:

"Examples of my handiwork were sent to Russia, Turkey, and England for scrutinazation. Based on the received reviews, I was given a copyright certificate. The Shiklar craft is intrinsic to the Azerbaijani people, which has no analogs in the world ".

Speaking about the reasons for his cooperation with ABAD Public Legal Entity, the artisan notes that his purpose is to receive support to introduce the Shiklar craft all across the world and take the Shikhlar art to the new levels.
