National ornamental motifs, deeply reflective of Azerbaijani cultural identity, have inspired the creative endeavors of many individuals. Zehra Ali, an ABAD artisan, has been captivated by these motifs since childhood, a passion that was nurtured and encouraged by her teachers.
For the past seven years, Zehra Ali has been crafting souvenirs in a national style using ceramics and other materials. She shares:
“Working with glass and ceramics brings me immense joy. Initially, I never considered selling my creations. Some time ago, my teacher introduced me to ABAD. I presented my souvenirs, and they were well-received. Now, I explore new directions in my craftsmanship, such as creating lapel brooches for ABAD.”
Discussing her future aspirations, Zehra Ali expresses confidence that, with ABAD’s support, she will achieve one of her dreams—participating in local and international exhibitions.
Notably, Zehra Ali’s handmade works are showcased and available for purchase at ABAD sales centers.
