Afaq Bayramova, a Baku resident collaborating with ABAD, was inspired to pursue artistry under the influence of her parents, who dreamed of their children becoming artists. She obtained her higher education in applied arts, delving deeply into the intricacies of decorative-applied folk craftsmanship, including carpet weaving and pottery, during her studies.

After graduating, Afaq began creating diverse compositions in the national style, using materials such as canvas fabric, clay, leather, wood, and sponge. These compositions, primarily inspired by fragments from Azerbaijani folk tales and epics, are framed with various materials to complete their unique aesthetic.

Afaq has participated in numerous exhibitions, showcasing her handcrafted works and earning recognition for her artistry. Motivated by her success, she sought to generate income from her craft and establish a family business, leading her to join ABAD. With the necessary support from ABAD, Afaq Bayramova’s creations are now displayed and available for purchase at ABAD craftsmanship centers.
