Within the framework of the Azerbaijan-Tajikistan Agribusiness Forum, which took place on September 18, business entrepreneurs and representatives of state bodies in charge of the agricultural sector of Azerbaijan and Tajikistan familiarized themselves with the production line at several Manufacturing Companies in Azerbaijan. It should be noted that the guests are the participants of the Azerbaijan-Tajikistan Agribusiness Forum organized by "Agro Procurement and Supply” OJSC.

The delegation also familiarized with the ABAD Factory in Guba, a public legal entity run by the State Agency for Public Service and Social Innovations. (Acronym ABAD stands for “Facilitated Support for Family Businesses”)

It was noted that in this modern production complex with a total area of up to 1,500 square meters, ABAD members operate in five production areas. This includes dried fruits, kompot, confectionery, dairy and meat products. In addition to the Production Complex, the guests were briefed on the history of the ABAD and its overall activities as a model for supporting small businesses in the field of social innovations.

It is worth to mention that Guba ABAD Factory established with the support of Pasha Holding on October 11, 2018, and the inauguration of the complex took place with the participation of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Mr Ilham Aliyev and First Lady Mehriban Aliyeva.
