On April 17, the construction of a modern slaughterhouse began in Guzanly settlement of Aghdam district within the framework of the joint project of ABAD and AFSA.
The main goal of the project is to form favourable conditions for the population engaged in livestock farming, ensure the compatibility of modern slaughter techniques and provide healthier meat and meat products for consumption. The new butcheries to be built will control and prevent the spread of zoonotic diseases, protect people from animal-to-human transmission. A foundation for the organization of veterinary mechanisms to control animal health in the liberated areas will be laid as soon as possible.
It should be noted that organizational work has been carried out with the relevant agencies to establish a slaughterhouse that meets modern requirements, the necessary factors for a more effective organization of the service have been taken into account. Considering the experience of working with micro and small businesses, ABAD public legal entity will conduct the selection of participants to be involved in the future activities of the modern slaughterhouse, assess their potential and business management skills, and train them. ABAD will provide services included in its support program. Laboratories will be set up and veterinary and sanitary control will be provided for the production of meat products that will be put into circulation.
It should be noted that the new butchery, which
will operate in the Guzanly settlement of Aghdam, will create new opportunities
for local entrepreneurs to set up new services that meet modern requirements.
Training for entrepreneurs operating in the area, as well as the staff to be
hired will be carried out jointly with the relevant agencies based on
