
All-natural food
products manufactured by entrepreneurs supported by ABAD public legal entity have
been exported to Kazakhstan through IMEX Trading. Initially, the products
were presented at the branch of the Grandmart supermarket chain in Aktau,
Kazakhstan, which opened in April this year.
The
new branch in Aktau offers a variety of jams prepared by ABAD-supported
entrepreneurs such as - eggplant, watermelon, quince, walnuts, cornelian
cherries, “Khamsa” teas by Ismayilovs family, “Narli” sauces by Hasanovs family,
buckwheat and rice flour by Pashayevs family. The products of other ABAD
entrepreneurs are also expected to be exported in the near future.
It
should be noted that ABAD (Simplified Support to Family Businesses) public
legal entity run by the State Agency for Public Service and Social Innovations
under the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan was established following the
Presidential Decree dated 23 September 2016. The
main purpose of establishing the organization is to carry out socially-oriented
projects aimed at ensuring the active participation of the citizens in the
socio-economic life of the Republic of Azerbaijan, developing small and medium
entrepreneurship, raising the employment rate of the population and supporting
the formation of competitive family businesses in the country. The organization
functions with the motto of "From idea to the shelves" and ABAD centres
implement assistance projects for family businesses engaged in arts and
agriculture.
