At the initiative of the Embassy of the
Republic of Tajikistan in the Republic of Azerbaijan, the State Agency for
Public Service and Social Innovations under the President of the Republic of
Azerbaijan hosted an online event on "Azerbaijan's best practices in
public services and e-governance."
The main purpose of the event was to inform
Tajik government agencies about the provision of effective public services and
to discuss possible cooperation perspectives in relevant areas.
The meeting also featured a presentation on the
role of ABAD public legal entity in supporting family businesses in Azerbaijan.
The presentation was made by Rufat Elchiyev, Director of ABAD Public Legal
Entity.
It was noted that many achievements have been
made in the Republic of Azerbaijan with the establishment of the ABAD model in
terms of the development of micro, small and medium enterprises. It was also
noted that ABAD has served 500 entrepreneurs so far.
