On March 18, the ABAD ethno-boutique located in
the Icheri Sheher State Historical-Architectural Reserve hosted the
festival “Nowruz Traditions at ABAD” l,
which embodied the Nowruz holiday, one of the most valuable national and spiritual
values of our folk, its origins, history, and customs.
In addition to supporting micro, small and
medium enterprises, ABAD continues to contribute to the promotion of local
culture. Thus, the traditions of our national holiday were presented at the
festival, as well as the Nowruz-themed products of ABAD members were presented
to the guests.
It is worth mentioning that, as a date, March
18 was not chosen at random. The first ethno-boutique of ABAD, located in
Icheri Sheher, was launched five years ago on this day.
In addition, the guests of the festival witnessed
the process of setting a traditional Nowruz
table and learned about the symbolic meaning of the blessings on the table.
Entertainment in accordance with Nowruz traditions was presented in particular
pre-prepared zones, such as:
* Nowruz forth-telling;
* Egg-fighting;
* Egg decoration master class;
* Henna hand painting;
* Khoncha decoration master class;
* National-themed photo session;
* National music, etc.
