
ABAD public
legal entity, the Entrepreneurship Development Fund (EDF) under the Ministry of
Economy, and "Yelo Bank" OJSC are up to support the creation and
expansion of family farms and finance the investment projects of ABAD members
at the expense of state concessional loans.
ABAD aimed at
carrying out socially-oriented projects aimed at ensuring the active
participation of the citizens in the socio-economic life of the Republic of
Azerbaijan by developing micro, small and medium entrepreneurship, raising the
employment rate of the population, and supporting the formation of competitive
family businesses in the country.
For the purpose
of forming and developing family farms through ABAD centers, ABAD members are
rendered with services such as business planning, consulting, marketing,
branding, design, accounting, and legal assistance, as well as, logistics and
organization of the sales. Providing concessional loans to ABAD members by EDF
through authorized credit organizations is the next support mechanism of ABAD.
Thus, within
the course of June-July 2022, EDF allocated 110 thousand manats of concessional
credit funds for the purpose of financing three investment projects belonging
to ABAD members. "Yelo Bank" OJSC acted as an authorized credit
organization in granting those loans to entrepreneurs. These financed projects
serve the development of horticulture, beekeeping, and animal husbandry.
Joint
cooperation will contribute to facilitating the access of ABAD entrepreneurs to
financial resources, increasing the competitiveness of family farms, as well as
the employment level of the population, especially the development of micro,
small and medium enterprises in the country.
