On October 31, 2022, a media tour was organized to Nardaran ABAD Ceramics and Applied Arts Centre.
It was brought to the attention of media representatives that the ceramics centres established on the initiative of ABAD are of high importance in terms of forming creativity in our country and region.
Nardaran ABAD Ceramics and Applied Art centre is one of those centers which was built with the support of PASHA Holding in 2018-2019 and was furnished with equipment by the Turkish Cooperation and Coordination Agency (TIKA).
The purpose of the center is to transfer the historical ceramic traditions of the country to future generations, introduce Azerbaijani clay to the world, and improve employment opportunities for young people.
Masterclasses on ceramics crafts are regularly held in the center. Equipping the center with crucial equipment also allows other ceramic artists and enthusiasts to prepare products for cooking and ease the creation processes.
At present, ten employees have been provided with permanent jobs in this center. Hundreds of different types of products are produced and sold every month.
The establishment of new brands in our country is one of the highest goals of ABAD. Thus, a new ABAD enterprise called "ART Factory" was formed within the center. Various decorative items and souvenirs, earthenware for household use are produced here by ABAD craftsmen.
