ABAD employees will deliver gender-sensitive services

9 employees of "ABAD" public legal entity, have attended Training on Gender-sensitive delivery organized in Baku as a part of the “Empowering and Creating equal opportunities for vulnerable, conflict-affected women in Azerbaijan to overcome barriers toward greater economic and social participation” project implemented by the United Nations Development Program (UNDP) and State Committee for Family? Women and Children Affairs of the Republic of Azerbaijan with the support of the UK government.

The topics of ensuring gender equality, protection of women's rights, gender policy, gender audit, and methods of combating gender discrimination were touched upon in the training.

The main purpose of the training was to create equal opportunities for men and women in all spheres of public life by the representatives of state institutions and to ensure the equal representation of women and men based on these recommendations.

As a result of the training, 9 representatives of the "ABAD" public legal entity were awarded certificates that enable them to make their services gender sensitive and inclusive in the future.
