Azerbaijan marks August 26 as Lachin City Day. On this occasion, with the support of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation, with joint organization of the Ministry of Culture, and the special delegation of the President in the Lachin region, a holiday party was organized in the city of Lachin on the scenic terrace and in front of the Flag Square. President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev and First Lady Mehriban Aliyeva participated in the celebrations.

The event covered the exhibition “Sceneries of Lachin”, as well as the display of pottery, embroidery, coppersmithing, and latticework samples made at Nardaran ABAD Ceramics and Applied Art Centre.

President Ilham Aliyev and First Lady Mehriban Aliyeva got acquainted with the exhibitions and holiday celebrations and talked with the participants of the event.

It should be noted that Nardaran ABAD Ceramics and Applied Art Centre was built and put into use in 2018-2019 with the support of "TIKA" and "PASHA Holding". The aim of the center is to preserve and transfer the historical ceramic traditions of our country to future generations, as well as to introduce different types of Azerbaijani clay to the world.
