"ABAD"
public legal entity and the Penitentiary Service of the Ministry of Justice
have launched a cooperation.
The
purpose of the cooperation is to improve to assist prisoners with their social
reintegration by increasing their vocational knowledge and skills, restoring
existing production areas in penal institutions, and creating new production
fields.
As an
initial stage, on October 31, 2023, the employees of the “ABAD” public legal
entity visited the penal institutions No. 4 and 15, got acquainted with the new
production areas created there, and evaluated the handiwork of the prisoners.
At the
end of the meeting, the topic of selling the handiwork of the convicts in "ABAD"
ethno-boutiques was discussed.
