On April 1, 2019, ABAD and Sheki Regional Science Center (SRSC) signed a Memorandum of Understanding on cooperation and organizational interaction.

The Memorandum was signed between the Director of ABAD public legal entity Rufat Elchiyev and the Director of SRSC Yusif Shukurlu.

Speaking at the event, Rufat Elchiyev stressed that the memorandum, signed between these two organizations, will play an important role in the development of micro and small entrepreneurs, local residents, who want to occupy different professions in agriculture and related fields, as well as in the economics of the country.

Later, the Director of SRSC said that through this Memorandum, industry and agriculture will be further developed in the Sheki-Zagatala economic zone and the efficiency will be increased by applying advanced scientific achievements in production.

It was noted that, according to the memorandum, SRSC Sheki will invite trainers on the following areas for applicants to the "ABAD" Regional Center:

    Sericulture;

    Tobacco cultivation;

    Gardening;

    Logistics and technology.

In the course of these trainings, trainees will be trained on the usage instructions of gardening tools besides the methodological guidelines and will be provided with a laboratory. Practical exercises in the special cultivation zone within the SRSC area, as well as training courses on rearing silkworm breeds,  will be organized.

Those who successfully complete the training will be awarded certificates, and those who have the highest results will be able to perform as trainers in the following training.
